Welcome to the 1st Copthorne Scout group's website. We are a thriving group with strong attendance in each of our sections. We currently have two Beaver colonies, two Cub packs, two Scout troops and an Explorer unit. The total numbers are around 120 boys. We are fortunate to have our own excellent facilities which have been built up over the years and an enthusiastic team of Leaders & Helpers.

Over the past few months we have made a number of improvements to the unit. These include:-

• A disabled toilet on the ground floor
• New ceiling
• Replacement windows
• New kitchen
• New floor
• Decorated all downstairs walls
• Built new garage ready to house new minibus
• New general storage area
• Secure gas store

This has all been made possible by a substantial amount of grants and donations for which we are extremely grateful.
