Fundraising

The Scout Group is a very expensive operation to keep running. To run on subscriptions alone, they would have to be so high that many boys could not afford to attend.

The shortfall between running costs and subscriptions is made up by Fundraising.

We have a number of regular activities which include:

3 Jumble Sales each year.

Plate smashing, Coconut Shy and Candy Floss at the Village Carnival.

Firework Display.

Recycling Inkjet and Laser Cartridges as well as Mobile Phones.

200 Club Father Christmas Float and Christmas Village Postal Service.

Autumn Fair

All of these need lots of bodies - so why not have some fun and help. Volunteers are always welcome.
